• Housekeeping duties:
• Responsible for cleaning cottages when vacated.  Duties include dusting, emptying trash, changing linens, sweeping, mopping, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms and ensuring cottages are stocked with needed supplies.
• Conduct semi-annual detailed cleaning of all cottages.
• Assist as needed with housekeeping duties in other building on campus. 
• Bring to Supervisor’s attention any needed repairs/replacements.
• Food Service duties:
• Assist as needed with meals and breaks for employees and visitors; including preparing, serving and cleaning-up.
• Follow generally accepted food preparation and handling techniques.
• Safely and efficiently operate kitchen equipment.
• Plan and complete job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including using appropriate judgment.

• Ability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. 
• Lift, push and pull items regularly up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Reach, stoop, bend, kneel, climb and crouch.
• Exposure to potentially hazardous kitchen equipment.
• Exposure to housekeeping/cleaning agents and/or chemicals.

• Ability to work independently with initiative, and handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and pay attention to details required.
• Ability to interact with the public and other personnel.
